Refund Policy

At Serene Images LLC ("Serene Images," "we," "us," or "our"), client satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. We stand behind the quality of our work and strive to ensure that every engagement exceeds expectations. This Refund Policy outlines our terms regarding cancellations, refunds, and our satisfaction guarantee.

1. Complimentary Discovery Call

Our initial 30-minute Discovery Call is provided at no charge and carries no obligation. There is nothing to refund for this consultation, as no payment is collected at this stage.

2. In-Home Assessment Fee

For Whole-Home Transformation and Kitchen Reset engagements, an in-home assessment fee of $350 is charged to reserve your assessment appointment. This fee is fully credited toward your project total if you proceed with our services. If you choose not to proceed after the assessment, the fee is non-refundable, as it covers the time and expertise of our lead designer during the on-site evaluation.

3. Project Deposits and Payment Terms

Upon approval of your Spatial Design Blueprint, a non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total project cost is required to secure your project dates and initiate procurement of materials and storage products. The remaining 60% is due upon completion of the transformation, prior to the final reveal walkthrough.

We accept payment via check, bank transfer (ACH), and all major credit cards. Payment plans are available for projects exceeding $8,000 — please discuss options with your project coordinator.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Before Materials Procurement

If you cancel your project before we have purchased materials or storage products on your behalf, you will receive a refund of 75% of your deposit. The remaining 25% covers administrative costs, scheduling reservation, and Blueprint preparation.

Cancellation After Materials Procurement

If you cancel your project after materials have been purchased, the deposit is non-refundable. However, all purchased materials will be delivered to your home or may be returned for credit where vendor policies permit. Any credit received from vendor returns will be applied to your account.

Cancellation During Active Project

If you choose to halt an active project mid-engagement, you will be billed for all work completed to date plus the cost of materials already purchased and installed. Any unused portion of your deposit will be applied as a credit toward this balance.

5. Rescheduling

We understand that life can be unpredictable. You may reschedule your project dates up to two times at no additional charge, provided you give us at least seven (7) business days' notice before the scheduled start date. Rescheduling requests made with fewer than seven business days' notice may incur a rescheduling fee of $250 to cover crew reallocation costs.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

We are deeply committed to your satisfaction. If any aspect of our work does not meet the standards outlined in your approved Spatial Design Blueprint, we will return at no additional cost to make adjustments. This guarantee is valid during your designated follow-up period:

7. Refund for Dissatisfaction

In the rare event that we are unable to resolve a satisfaction issue through adjustment visits, we will work with you in good faith to determine a fair partial refund based on the scope of the unresolved issue. Full refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are reserved for situations where we have demonstrably failed to deliver the scope of work outlined in the approved Blueprint.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to hello@sereneimages.info within the follow-up period. We will respond within five (5) business days with a proposed resolution.

8. Force Majeure

In the event that a project is delayed or cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, or supply chain disruptions), we will work with you to reschedule at no additional cost. If rescheduling is not feasible, a full refund of any unearned fees will be issued within thirty (30) business days.
