Where Order Meets Artistry

Step inside the creative headquarters of Serene Images — a sun-drenched SoHo loft where our team designs the spatial transformations that have redefined how Americans experience their homes.

Bright modern studio office with minimalist design

Founded on a Kitchen Table in 2012

Serene Images began the way many meaningful ventures do — out of a personal need that nothing on the market could adequately address.

Our founder, Elise Caldwell, was a practicing interior architect who noticed a persistent gap in her industry. Clients would invest thousands of dollars in beautiful renovations, only to watch their gorgeous new kitchens drown in clutter within months. The design was there, but the systems weren't — and no one was bridging that gap between aesthetics and lived reality.

Elise started offering "post-renovation organizing" as an add-on service. Within a year, the demand for her organizing work had eclipsed her architecture practice. Clients didn't just want pretty spaces — they wanted spaces that functioned seamlessly with their actual lifestyles. Serene Images was formally incorporated in 2013, and we haven't looked back since.

The People Behind Your Transformation

Our team is small by design. Every member is hand-selected for their unique combination of technical skill, emotional intelligence, and an almost obsessive eye for detail.

With a master's degree in Interior Architecture from Pratt Institute and over sixteen years of professional practice, Elise brings a rare combination of structural expertise and psychological sensitivity to every project. She personally oversees each whole-home engagement and has been featured in Architectural Digest, Domino, and The New York Times Home section.

Small Team, Outsized Impact

We deliberately keep our team small. This isn't a staffing limitation — it's a philosophical choice. By limiting the number of active projects we take on at any given time, we ensure that every client receives the undivided attention and creative energy their home deserves.

Our SoHo studio functions as a creative lab as much as an office. Sample materials line the shelving — drawer liners, linen organizers, acrylic inserts, label systems — so we can prototype solutions before bringing them into client homes. Every Thursday afternoon, the team gathers for "Design Review," where we critique ongoing projects, share discoveries from the field, and push each other toward more elegant, more human-centered solutions.

We also invest heavily in continuing education. Each team member completes a minimum of 40 hours of professional development annually, covering topics from the latest storage hardware innovations to emerging research in environmental psychology and sustainable materials.
